Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to your information when you use the email alert on this site.
What we collect
Only what you enter in the alert form: your email address, the iPhone model, colour and storage you want, your postcode or town, and how far you will travel.
Search and email log
To run the site and spot problems, the owner keeps a log of stock searches (the time, country, postcode or town, which iPhones were searched and what was found), alerts set up (including the email address given) and emails sent (address, subject and whether it was delivered). The log does not include IP addresses or anything that identifies you from a search alone. Searches and alerts are kept for 7 days, the email log for 30 days.
Why
Solely to email you when that iPhone is available for pickup at an Apple Store near you. We will not send marketing, and we never sell or share your details.
How long we keep it
An alert that isn't confirmed is deleted after 2 days. A confirmed alert is deleted as soon as we email you, or after 30 days if nothing turns up, whichever comes first.
Signing in
If you sign in, we email you a one-time link (it expires after 15 minutes). Clicking it places a single sign-in cookie in that browser, used only to keep you signed in, for up to 30 days or until you sign out. While signed in, we keep a list of your alerts and your last search (model, postcode and filter choices) against your email address, so they appear on any device you sign in on. Signing out removes the cookie from that browser. To have this deleted, use the contact form.
Without signing in, the site remembers your postcode, last results and alerts only in your own browser.
Visitor statistics
To see how many people use the site, we count page views without cookies and without storing IP addresses. Each visit is counted using a one-way code made from your connection and browser details plus the date; it changes every day and can't be turned back into who you are. We also note the country (from the connection), whether it's a phone, tablet or computer, and which website linked to us. Counts are kept for 31 days.
Who processes it
Alerts are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and emails are sent through Resend. Both act only on our instructions.
Your choices
You can cancel an alert at any time using the link in your confirmation email. To ask about or delete your data, contact the site owner via the email address alerts are sent from.
